Radio Galaxy, consisting of King Midas, Spacebunny Jefferson and DJ Cozmos, just released their debut album "We Come in Peace" through PeaceUvMine Entertainment. Their music is definitely from outer space. The three creative creatures who are still lingering around on Earth to see how their music is received, took the time out to tell more about themselves, where they are from and of course, about their art.

Eagle Nebula, a powerful name in itself. A female MC, hailing from Inglewood California but residing in Brooklyn New York for a while now. When we talk about "real" Hip Hop, "Nebs" as friends call her, is definitely an MC in this category. In the times of Nicki Minaj's, there are definitely still female MC's that bring us back to that raw New York underground sound. Together with producer and drummer Daru Jones (DD172, Black Milk), Nebs dropped a free EP last year, named LoveBombs.

In light of February's Love and Black History Month, we caught up with a powerful black woman who has been making quite a name for herself. Ci Ci Foster, accomplished actress, film producer and entrepreneur. She is now also focused on writing novels and has released her latest book "Sunny Rain" and is now working on her new novel called "Hollywoodn't". If you're not familiar with Ci Ci or her work, here is your chance to get to know her.

The 7-piece band Air Dubai is, like they state themselves as well, not to be put into one category or genre. Hailing from Denver, Colorado, their sound is one of its own and their songs are as diverse as can be, yet hold on to that sound.

Time to put the spotlight on an instrument-handling artist. Saxappeal, a saxophonist from Detroit, has been performing with Virgin Records recording artist, Dwele since 2005. He also has formed a highly energetic band of his own, duly named 1oh1. In efforts to form his own style, which he calls 'SaxSoul', Saxappeal's music is diverse with a blend of jazz, hip-hop, soul and R&B.

One of many talented producers goes by the name of Nottz. If you have never heard of him, I am sure you know at least one song he has produced. He has worked with names such asSnoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, J. Dilla and many more. 

The Sole Vibe released "One To Grow On" in September as emcees, Mario Dones and AV are both working on their upcoming solo projects. "One To Grow On" showcases Dones and AV over production from every Sole Vibe producer and newcomers, Lazy J, P. Fish and Nice Rec. While The Sole Vibe sound continually evolves, AV and Mario look now to share their distinct voices with the world. S.O.U.L. Magazine got the chance to pick the brains of these two, being part of the collective.

Malik Yoba, known from the 90's hitseries New York Undercover and as the Jamaican Bobsledder in Cool Runnings. His latest projects also involved Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Marriedmovies. Not many people are aware that Malik has also put out music in form of an album and is working on new music next to his acting career and being a family man. In light of the film-focus this month, S.O.U.L. Magazine caught up with Malik as he took the time out his extremely busy schedule.

Fishhawk is an alternative-rock band, or as they say themselves, Indie Electro Art Beat band, from Atlanta. Early July of this year they released their EP called Spacehawk, which is the follow-up to their sophomore album Bells Under Water. Fishhawk's music is spreading and their name is growing. It's time to help spread the music and talk about the direction they are heading.
